2009 Comes to a End

Today is the last day of Dec and 2009. This year for me has had many ups and downs. I started blogging in 2009, I love reading others as well as having my own.
Some positive things for my creative side.
Being a DT member at Croppin Paradise and Wiscrappers, I have made many friends through these sites, and have developed my creative side, further. I love being a part of the team. I also am teaching classes at the LSS, this is a new thing for me and a step out of the box.

I have enjoyed my family tons this year and cherish all the memories they have given me. My children are developing into adults that I love and am so proud of.

Celebrated 28 years of marriage with my best friend and the love of my life. I took this picture at noon today I anticipate it will look the same at midnight.

After loosing my job, although this has brought some hard times. I have a job now that I totally love and feel like I make a difference everyday that I am there.

I look forward to what 2010 brings to Me. Have a safe celebration tonight and Happy New Year.

I have found a blog and person I draw inspiration from Kristen Kane Be creative. Be Conscious. Be Corageous.
One of her suggestions is that instead of doing a new years resolution, people pick a inspirational WORD that will guide them throughout the year. I have accepted her challenge and my word to inspire me is DECREASE. I have many areas that need reduction Stress, Weight, couch potato time, clutter to start with.

It feels more like Oct here than November this is the 4 th day in a row we had temperatures in the 60's. Loving the weather. I was blessed to have the H1N1 this fall, oh my, I have not been that sick in for ever, I even said I would rather gift birth than get the H1N1 again.

I am busy getting some stuff ready to do class at the LSS in town. Excited about that. Doing some projects to make gifts, christmas cards.

What have I been up to?

Hello~
I have 3 full weeks of work as a school nurse under my belt and it is going good so far, I am loving it, its a great atmosphere and everyone is so nice. I love being in a multi culture environment. Friday we had a wild black bear on the school grounds, that was freaky. He was trying to enroll then realized we only take Polar bears (school mascot) :)
Nicole has a full time job at Clayton Wisc school district, fun and exciting for her. Tyler has started his last semester at the Tech school then will transfer to UW Eau Claire in the Spring.
Doug is still working to hard, but at the same place

Sunday 09/5

Labor day weekend. I celebrated my 28th Anniversary with my best friend yesterday. We were able to listen to REO Speedwagon and Styx yesterday at the MN sate fair. My first date with Doug was a REO Speedwagon concert kind of Ironic that we were able to see REO on our anniversary. I started working on Monday at North High School, as a LPN/Health Assistant. I am really enjoying meeting new people. The kids start on Tuesday so that will be the test, I am excited to be apart of so many young peoples life and make a difference. Hope everyone has a great Labor Day.

I am looking forward to being a part of the community. Here is there website http://northhighschool.webaloo.com/default.aspx

Tyler, he saved a girl from drowning, he was tubing down the river in Eau Claire, with his buddies, they meet a group of girls and were tubing together, most of the day. One of the girls that was a little too intoxicated, she fell off her tube. She didn't surface, so Tyler dove off his tube, she was on the bottom of the river so he brought her to the surface, she was still breathing but motionless. He swam her to the shore, and she's ended upfine.
