Ava's Baptizm

I don't usually struggle with LO's but this one had me struggling, not sure why, so I stopped working on it in Nov, then took it out in Jan, got it mostly done, to where I liked it. This is my badluck LO I think. I put some vellum on and used glue I hadn't used before, and it said it would dry clear um.... yeah right. It also shrunk my paper, so yesterday I took it out and re did it, the LO actually turned out pretty cute.
Of course it couldn't be with out incident yesterday, I spilled on it, adhesive remover, smudged the glitter writting and stickles, lucky it got completed.

Sorry about the shawdows but I will take sun any way I can get it

Using my stash

So I created this fun layout of my MoM, she is in Arizona right now, since Oct and I have been missing her. It ended up being sentimental and I could express my toughts about my mom, the single picture on the Lo on the right, you can see me when I was 11, in the corner of the photo. Everything used in the Layouts was from my stash, except the Petaloo flowers, the paper I have had for at least 2 years. The buttons are antique ones we have collected.

Products used :

Paper Bohemia by My Minds Eye line ~ Rhinestones by Queen and Co.~ Ribbon and Thickers by American craft ~ Flowers by Bazzil, Petaloo, Imaginisce ~ Stckles _glitz by Ranger ~ CTMH ink~ M - Ranger reinkers ~ Metal Pinewheels by Krafty Kraft ~ Rub ons CTMH ~

Techniques Class

I have been taking a on-line techniques class at wescrap.com

I learned how to do some blending of ink and creating a burned edge look

The green tag was done with reinkers and misting onto a craft mat, then i rubbed the tag in it. Very fun

here are some tags I created

prima projects

Ihave been creating Layouts for Prima's frugal scrapper contest this is what I came up with the first one I used the ends of the sprites container and the say it in crystals, packaging, I punched flowers out of the packaging.
Second layout is made out of the packaging, I used a punch and my cricut.

prima sprites flowers in both
