Tuesday Jan 13

It was -19 when I got up today -36 with the wind chill, burr we are suppose to get some snow overnight.
Daughters car is in the shop we are hoping that the radiator is just cracked and nothing major with the engine. So of course I am with out a car, until its fixed grr. but hopefully everything will turn out ok.
I am watching Biggest Looser, this is one of my favorite shows, not sure about how they are doing this season, so far.

Well another snowy day in Western Wisconsin, we got about 3 inches of snow today, the bad thing is it is suppose to get very cold and windy causing blizzard conditions, it is suppose to be 10 below tonight.
Had a busy day at work, I work at a Orthopedic clinic, seems like the weather is good for business.
Had my favorite food tonight take out Chinese.

Sunday 1/11

Last evening we had a after Christmas party with my cousins from my Mom's side, it was really a fun even, great food and conversation. It was fun to see everyone again. We got home at 1:00 am so today has been a pretty quiet, just sitting around watching the Karate Kid series on the Family channel.

Monday

Back to work today, after being off for 4 days. The day went well, I really had a hard time, getting into my work day, just moving a little slow and not truely motivated.
The last few days have been good, got some cleaning done, scrapping, and my 52 deck of me started.
Nicole has been home for almost 2 weeks she went back to Menomonie and has 3 weeks left of student teaching then off to the real world WORK.
Tyler will resume school in 2 weeks, is registered and ready to start. He got a kitten right before christmas and is really enjoying having a pet excet when he awakens to the kitten chewing on his lip :)

Hope everyones New Year is off to a good start.
I have gotten a couple of layouts done so far this weekend, scrapfreak.com had been having a weekend crop, about going green and reusing things.

I used bubble rap to make my on pattern on this card













For this Layout from my Nieces Birtday I sued so popsicle sticks from rubbon packages to create a frame, and then used some plastic from the embleshment packaging to create a pocket for a hidden journaling card

Second Day of the New Year

I am lucky enough to have the day off today.
Going to do some scrap booking I have been participating in a VC about going green with crafting at ScrapFreak, I hope to post some of my projects later.
this afternoon we are going to Maplewood Mall in Whitebear Lake MN, a stop at target today too. Out to eat somewhere nice in the cities.
I kicked my desk super hard last night and I think I might have actually broke it, it does feel better today.

Hard to believe it is really a new year. Hope that 2008 was good and that 2009 is awesome.
Highlights from 2008
We went to Mexico with family and friends.
My parents returned from Az and left again.
I turned 47 and my sister is 50
Nicole Graduated from College
I started a blog
